Professor Lyn Littlefield OAM

Lyn is an active and contributing Club member, who appreciates its facilitation of life-long learning and the opportunities it presents for valued friendships.  She attends many Circle events and is co-convenor of the highly successful Psychology Circle.

Lyn brings extensive experience as a director, CEO and psychologist to the Lyceum Board.  She has recently retired as CEO of the Australian Psychological Society – a 24,000 strong member-based organisation.

Roles over the last 30 years include:

– Membership of more than 10 Boards;

– Key leader in the establishment and development of Eltham College, ECCA Centre, the Victorian Parenting Centre, KidsMatter and Headspace (national mental health programme for children and adolescents) and Allied Health Professions Australia (peak body for allied health);

– Head, School of Psychological Science, La Trobe University;

– Current President, Board of Relationships Australia (Vic.) Board and Chair of the National Council of Relationships Australia

Lyn has a deep understanding of governance, strategic decision-making, fiduciary responsibilities and management of membership entities.  She is committed to ensuring the continuation of the Club’s unique culture, financial viability, upgrading of its IT systems and expanding the Club’s ability to offer members in-person and virtual Circle activities.
