Mrs Felicity Costigan
B.A. (Hon) PostGradDip. Library & Information Services (University of Melbourne)
Felicity brings to the Lyceum Board a range of skills from her 30 years working in the communications field. A brief career in academic libraries was then followed by time served in a commercial photo agency which lead her to a role at Vogue Australia in 1993. This opened the door to journalism where she spent the next 15 years working mainly for The Herald Sun and The Sunday Age. Felicity has worked with author Kaz Cooke as a researcher on two of her best-selling books.
Over the past 10 years, Felicity has developed a distinguished career in philanthropic services where she has worked as a philanthropic consultant as well as holding an Executive Officer role at an international development agency for women and girls. Felicity has been on the Board of Volunteers Australia and St. Mary’s House of Welcome, a service centre for the homeless.
A keen interest in rural and regional sustainability has inspired her to attempt a Master of Science which will hopefully be completed before she turns 100. Felicity is married to Joseph Costigan and has a son and daughter and a King Charles Cavalier named Humphrey.
