Mrs Judith Troeth AM

Judith Troeth AM has been Chair of Austin Health Board since July 2012.  She has been re-appointed twice by a Victorian Labor Government,

a recognition of the high regard in which she is held by all political parties.

Judith was a Liberal Senator for Victoria in the Federal Parliament 1993-2011.

She was Assistant Minister for Agriculture 1997-2004 and has chaired many Senate committees.

Before entering Parliament, Judith was a secondary teacher and a farmer, with strong involvement in her community in country Victoria.

She has extensive experience as a member and Chair of diverse Boards and committees, and she values and respects the diverse Lyceum community.

She has for many years been an advocate for rural women and immigration policies.

Judith joined the Club in 1987, and since retirement in 2011 has been an active participant in Club activities and

Circles such as Speakers Corner, Epicurean, Wine Appreciation, and the Whodunits Reading Circle.
